How to store sourdough

First two days

Keep the cut side down on a board, or use a clean cloth or paper bag. Do not seal a fresh crust in plastic.

After two days

Toast slices to bring back the crust and aroma.

Freeze it sliced

Freeze slices in a sealed bag. Toast individual slices straight from frozen.
